Vail Resorts adds Apple executive to board

BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Vail Resorts Inc. is adding a senior vice president of Apple Inc. to its board.

Vail Resorts said Monday that Apple general counsel Bruce Sewell is joining the ski resort company's board and will serve on the board's audit committee. Sewell also is senior vice president of legal and government affairs for Apple.

Sewell is a skier himself and has worked as a professional ski patroller at Windham Mountain Ski Resort and Hunter Mountain in New York.
